A Game Room with Style meand a Great Game Table

Your family has finally talked you into having a game room and the kids’ smiles couldn’t be any bigger. Of course they are not the ones that have to figure our all the logistics involved.

If you have a room in mind and just need to get it decorated here are a few things you may want to consider. The first step would be to write down the rooms measurements and keep them handy while shopping or looking around for ideas. That way if you see something great there will be no second-guessing on the sizes, it will be right the first time, which is always a time (and sanity) saver.

When planning the decorating you need to decide if the room will be used primarily by kids or adults. If children will be the primary occupants, you may want to consider vinyl or hardwood flooring to make cleaning up a little easier. If it will be used primarily by adults then carpeting may be a better choice.

For kids a more relaxed and fun atmosphere might be in order. Perhaps a pool/ping pong table will be the main attraction so be sure to include room to play without hitting any walls or furniture. For a real crowd pleaser consider adding a soda fountain. For adults, a wet bar may be something to consider.

In either case a game table is usually in order and with all of the styles available you will be able to find one that compliments the décor of the room, whether for adults, kids or both.
