Furniture for a Small Game Room – Game Tables with Chairs

by EVS Blog Admin on September 19, 2007

If your family has wanted a game room for a while now and you don’t think you really have enough room for one, there are some things that you can do even in a small space.

First is to decide whether you have an actual room that can be turned into a game room or if you only have part of a room that you can set up as one. Naturally if you have an extra room it makes decorating it a little easier, however, a smaller space can still be made to look stylish and uncluttered.

If you are only able to use part of a room, you may be limited as to the type of games and furniture for it. For example, a pool table requires quite a bit of elbow room and may not work well in your space. On the other hand, a dart board or pinball machine take up very little space and should work well in a smaller area.

If you would really like to have a game table in the room but are worried about it looking cluttered, you may want to consider getting a Library Game Table with 2 chairs. This amazing piece looks like an oval bookshelf, but when you open it up it becomes 2 barrel back chairs on casters with storage under each one along with the center becoming a pedestal table that also includes storage, which comes in handy because the table also includes game pieces.

You can leave the table open for game playing or you can close it up for a neater appearance in a small room.
