Mirrors Make Great Accessories

Mirrors make a great addition to a room; try positioning it so that it reflects something interesting in the room. To increase the visual impact of a mirror consider hanging a floral swag across it. Or another option is to place small paintings or decorative sconces or lamps on either side of the mirror. To make it a little more interesting trying taking several mirrors and grouping them according to sizes and shapes. The only thing to really remember is that if you hang a mirror that has been framed with molding be sure that it complements the rest of the accessories in the room.

You know that plants and greenery can give a room both softness and texture. They work really well around a mirror, whether by trailing a long piece of ivy across the mirror or placing it on a small shelf in front of the mirror so that it is reflected in the mirror. There are endless possibilities when accessorizing with mirrors.
