An Accent Table perfect for Plants

If you don’t live in a zone where it stays warm enough to leave your potted plants on your patio all year round, you will have to bring them in before freezing temperatures hit and then you’ll have to find a place where your plants can thrive all throughout the winter months.

Homes that have lots of windows make plant placement easy. Instead of plopping a plant on the window sill where it can get knocked off by curious cats or careless kids; instead opt for a sturdy metal plant stand. The green of the plants can add a lot of life to your decor and you may find once you have your plants indoors you may want to keep them there.

Another great way to display your plants is on a tall shelved stand. This is a great way to have many plants in one area and add a lot of impact to your room with the various shades of green. Also, consider plants that bloom in the winter to liven up those grey, snowy days. Plants like the Corsican Hellebore and Bethlehem Sage both have delicate flowers that bloom during the coldest winter months.

Don’t fret if it’s time to bring your plants in for the winter. Instead of finding temporary places for them to sit out the winter months, update your interior decor scheme and make plants a big part of it.
