After a lengthy search, you found the perfect writing desk. Now you have to keep it looking perfect and new. The best way to do that is by considering what your writing desk is made of. For instance, if it is made of pure wood, make sure that you are not using water-based cleansers on it or you might cause swelling or cracking. Harsh cleansers are not recommended on any type of desk and should not be necessary. If you do need to clean, a simple, damp cloth should be all that is required. In the meantime, you should swipe the desk with a soft cloth every few days.
