Choosing the perfect console table

Console tables can sometimes be difficult to choose from, as they are available in so many styles and materials.  Glass topped console tables are one versatile type that look fantastic in a wide variety of homes.  Glass is a beautiful material and is a great way to increase the amount of light in dark rooms or rooms with a lot of dark furniture or decorations.  There are many vintage and antique reproduction console tables that have glass tabletops or cabinets.  These can go great in homes with other antique furniture or decorations.  There are also some great contemporary designs that have glass components. Glass is very easy to care for and will look great for a long time if you clean it regularly. Designs with glass tabletops are usually very simple but can still be very unique.  Find a glass console table set in a unique base to establish a distinctive design feature in your living room or hallway.  If you want to have a nice contrast of textures and materials, look for a contemporary console table with a curved, unpainted wood base and glass top.  Glass is such a versatile material and can make some very striking console tables that will look great in your home.
