Historically, vanity tables as we know them today were dressing tables for both men and women. Nowadays, they are most often designed in delicate or ornate styles that would appeal mostly to women, but we can still find vanity tables that can also appeal to men, with straight lines and elegant, simple designs. Men can put on their ties, fix their collars, splash on some cologne and, of course, comb their hair at their dressing or vanity tables. Should a husband and wife share one? They can each have their own, not just for style but also for personal use of the space.
