n this age of the computer, writing desks have become a quaint piece of furniture to add chic décor to your hallway or foyer. A small table, not too deep, with at least one drawer, sometimes more, along with a nice elegant chair can be an important element to the atmosphere wherever you place it. It can set the tone to your home if it is placed in the entrance hallway, or garnish your living room in that little corner where you do not know what to put. Of course, your writing desk can be the ideal place to write checks, keep a journal or preparing holiday cards.
