Men can put on their ties, fix their collars, splash on some cologne and, of course, comb their hair at their dressing or vanity tables. Should a husband and wife share one? Furnishing a Young Girls Room with the right Vanity Table

Remember how you looked forward to decorating your daughter’s nursery with all of these different ideas in your mind? While it may not have been the easiest thing, at least you had some definite thoughts about what you wanted to do with the room which may have included lots of soft colors and maybe a few ruffles. Then, it happens; your little angel is growing up and wants to change what she considers her “baby room” into something more appropriate for her age. Of course her definition of appropriate may not exactly match yours.

If you do agree to change the room, but are not thrilled with her ideas, there are a few ways you may be able to reach a compromise. Many times something as simple as changing the color of linens, etc. will do the job. She may decide she no longer loves pink or ruffles for that matter. So consider picking out a new color for curtains, rugs and bed linens, as they may solve the problem.

If new curtains are not exactly what she has in mind there are a few other changes that you can try. While it’s true she is growing up, it’s a good bet she is not quite as old as she envisions herself. A good example of a furnishing that has the look of growing up yet is not out of place in a young girl’s room is a vanity. There are many different styles available in everything from the antique white finish to a more modern Tiara vanity in a light wood.

Vanities are elegant and feminine enough to please your growing girl and still remain a great functional furnishing.
